• Vercel: For hosting, and for Web Analytics and Speed Insights (analytics, used only with your consent)
• PostHog: For product analytics — which pages and features get used. Used only with your consent. When you are signed in and have accepted analytics, your account ID, email address and name are attached to your analytics profile
• Sentry: For error reporting, so we can find and fix crashes. Sentry receives the page an error happened on, with query strings and authorisation headers removed before the report is sent
• Supabase and Backblaze B2: For database storage and for the files you upload or generate

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.

8a. Analytics, Cookies and Your Consent

Analytics is off until you turn it on. On your first visit a banner asks whether we may use analytics cookies, and no analytics service is loaded until you answer it. Choosing "Essential only" is a single click, the same as accepting, and it means nothing beyond the cookies needed to sign you in and run the site is placed on your device.

You can change your answer at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent stops the collection immediately and clears the analytics identifier stored for you; it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give.
